DISTANCE CHALLENGE

Distance Challenge:

A Search for the Farthest Accurate Shot from a Compound / Recurve / Barebow

A progressive competition testing distance, strength, and accuracy, culminating in a potential record setting attempt for the farthest accurate shot. This unique event pushes the limits of distance, precision, and performance for Compound, Recurve, and Barebow athletes.

Targets will be placed at 75m, 100m, 150m, 250m and 330m and shot in order. There will be 3 sighting arrows at each distance, followed by 3 target arrows with all arrows to be shot within 6 minutes. An athlete must hit the target with one arrow to progress to the next distance. Target size will be a minimum of 18″ wide.

This event is open to registered participants at the Canadian Outdoor Archery Championships.
